In London England on December 8th the Baloch Republican Party held protests.
Saturday December 7th, Baloch from across the Balochistan province joined the "wheel-jam shutter-down" strike in protest of the Occupational State's Local Government Elections.  Most Baloch residents also boycotted Pakistan's LG Elections.

Long March for the release of Baloch Abductees reaches Karachi

Through Scorching desert heat, harsh winds, death threats, and vehicular attacks, Mama Qadeer and the VBMP marchers completed their 700 kilometer trek from Quetta to Karachi.  For 27 days, the families of Enforced Disappeared & Extra-Judicially Killed Baloch braved the rugged desert highways of Balochistan.  During the march, Baloch across the region showed their support, joining the march and helping with supplies.  The “Long March” participants intend to continue their demonstration in the form of a Hunger Strike outside the Karachi Press Club.  In a statement the Vice President of VBMP - Mama Qadeer said “We will continue our Protest until all the Missing Persons reappear or are produced before the court”.

In the midst of the “Long March” demonstration, Traders in Nushki, Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Awaran, Gwadar, Panjgur, Kharan, Turban, Mand & Hub observed a BRP strike call in remembrance of Martyr Nawabzada Balaach Marri.  Nawabzada Balaach Marri was martyred during an encounter with Pakistani Security Forces on November 20th 2007.
Earlier on November 13th, Baloch Martyrs Day was held to commemorate and pay tribute to all the fallen Baloch Heroes.  Rememberance gatherings & Memorial Services were held all over Balochistan and around the world in honor of Baloch Martyrs.

Doctors across Balochistan intensify their strike, boycotting ODP (outdoor patient departments) at state run hospitals.  Baloch doctors began their protest on September 17th after cardiologist Munaaf Tareen was Abducted in front of his clinic in Quetta.  Baloch medical personnel have sadly become common Targets for Abducted and Assassination in the region.  The persecution of Baloch medical professionals is yet another tactic in the Systematic Expulsion and Extermination of the Baloch community.  More than 80 doctors have recently left the Quetta area to seek safety in other regions.  Although Doctors have boycotted the ODP, many have remained to treat emergency patients.

November 11th 2013, Pakistan Military Forces besieged the rural Baloch villages Bhoral Khosa near the Uchling district of Sohbat Pur / Jaffarabad.  Witnesses report Pakistani Army Personnel Looted the village homes then set them Ablaze, destroying the entire town.  During the attack, Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Khosa and Mr. Ali Dad Bugti were abducted by Pakistani Agents.  Residents reported Pakistan Soldiers openly Beating and Torturing the Civilian villagers.

During the Past week Pakistani Agents have Abducted at least 60 Baloch civilians in the Marwar-Bolan, and Dera Bugti regions.  Martyr Younis Baloch's 70yr old elder brother Mr.Muhammad Hussain Baloch, Mr. Zafar Baloch and Mr.Sherdil Baloch were amongst the Abductees.  On November 17th,  Mr. Tanveer Baloch , Mr. Qandeel Baloch, Mr. Yaseen Baloch, Mr. Akhtar Baloch and Mr. Sohail Baloch were Abducted during the Seige of Garamkan Village in Panjgur.  Pakistan Security Forces continue to blatantly conduct perpetual Loot & Burn military operations in Panjgur and Dera Bugti with impunity.  Pakistan's ongoing campaign of Ethnic Cleansing in Balochistan has left behind a swath of smoldering villages, displaced families, and untold suffering.

Pakistani State Agencies continue attempts to tighten their grip on Social Activism and media, effectively preventing the international community from fully realizing the extent of Pakistan’s vicious campaign of Ethnic Cleansing in Balochistan.
Despite Pakistan’s efforts to keep Balochistan hidden from the international community, British Director and Writer David Whitney along with Producers Noordin Mengal & his brother Bhawal Mengal, recently released the movie “The Line of Freedom”.  The Line of Freedom documents the harrowing account of abductee and eventual victim of extrajudicial murder, Nasir Dagarzai Baloch.  The movie has been made available for free at www.thelineoffreedom.com

Monday October 21st The Awaran home of Mola Baksh was attacked by Pakistan Armed Forces during their ongoing operation to vacate the Earthquake Ravaged region.  On Tuesday another Awaran home, this time the residence of Jameel Ahmed was Attacked.  Pakistani forces Pillaged the civilian residences, Torturing the Women and Children.  Pakistan Military officials state the region is “the hotbed of the biggest insurgency in Pakistan” yet denies any military operations.
Pakistan Military representative also claimed the “insurgents” were preventing delivery of incoming aid and inhibiting “rehabilitation” of the region, yet not one single NGO/INGO has reported being attacked by Baloch Separatists.  The statements of the Pakistan Armed Forces are absolutely contradictory to the facts, as they openly admit to refusing NGO/INGO access to the region.

On Tuesday October 22nd, Pakistani Agents Asharaf Salam & Liaqat, Destroyed the Baloch Welfare Committee Medical Camp.  The Plundered medical supplies were intended for Earthquake Victims at Teertaaj, Awaran.  October 30th Pakistani Paramilitary Forces resumed Indiscriminate Bombardment of Mashkai, this time targeting the Nokojo region.  Ali Pul s/o Fida Baloch was injured in the blasts.  Following the attack Mohmmad Afzal and his son Tariq were Abducted by the State Military Forces.

The Pakistan government claims they do not require any additional aid beyond the Paramilitary Forces currently deployed to the region, yet over a month has passed since the earthquakes and Awaran has seen no reconstruction.  The cold harsh winter is looming and Pakistan has again Failed the Baloch people.  Instead of warm food and shelter, the Awaran Earthquake Victims are fed empty promises, and concealed by Pakistan's thin veil of deceit.  Many of the Earthquake victims have opted to leave the region, relocating to other regions of Balochistan.  Those who remain have resolved to undertake the daunting task of rebuilding their homes themselves.
Many of the Earthquake Victims who relocated have been Targeted by Pakistani Agents in numerous Violent Military Operations.  In Hub, the new home of Arawan Earthquake Survivor Moula Baksh was attacked by Pakistani forces on October 25th.  In addition to inflicting acts of Abuse and Torture upon the Women and Children, Pakistani Agents abducted five family members during the raid.  14 year-old Balach Baloch, Amin Baloch, Elahi Baksh Baloch, and Azeem Baloch.  Only four days earlier in Labach Mashkai, Pakistani Agents had attacked their home and attempted to abduct the young Balach Baloch prompting the family to relocate to Hub.

Thursday October 31st Pakistani Armed Forces conducted raids in the New Kahan district near Quetta.  Seventeen Civilians were reported as Abducted during the State Military Operation.  A short distance south of Quetta, in Surab, Pakistani Death Squads killed 12 year old Rafiq Ahmed Baloch and 15 year old Nisar Ahmed Baloch.  Rafiq & Nisar were nephews of Shaheed Zakaria and residents of Anjeera.   A few days earlier on the 28th, three shops in nearby Besima were Destroyed in an Explosion.  Although nobody was injured in the blast and subsequent fire, millions of rupees worth of merchandise & equipment was destroyed.

Paramilitary Forces Bombard Earthquake Zone in Mashkai

Early Monday Morning, Pakistani Armed Forces began Bombarding the earthquake ravaged town of Kharan Mashkai with Rocket Propelled Grenades, Mortars, Fighter Jets and Gunship Helicopters.  Because of the Pakistani Military’s refusal to allow civilian aid workers to enter the region, and their brazen misappropriation of relief supplies, the Baloch community have been forced to smuggle volunteers and supplies into the region to help the victims of the September 24th earthquakes.

Pakistan’s Paramilitary Soldiers began their Invasion of Mashkai on October 10th in the Kharan region Killing four, and injuring at least nine others.  Among those Killed in the Attack is Zaffar Jan Baloch, his wife Ms Halima Baloch, and his brother Muhammad Yousuf.  Countless Civilians have been Abducted and Detained in the Mashkai region during the ongoing attacks.  Arawan and Mashkai remain Blockaded, Occupied, and Besieged even now.

On the recent Eid festival, Voice for Baloch Missing Persons organised a protest rally. Demonstrations were staged at the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons camp outside the Quetta Press club in Balochstan.
BSO-A-Azaad and BNM have called for a complete shutter-down wheel-jam strike throughout Balochistan in protest of the ongoing military operations in the devastated regions of Arawan and Mashkai.

Since the Occupation Forces have refused international volunteer workers and prevented civilian aid workers from reaching the victims with supplies and relief aid, they can effectively shroud the entire operation in secrecy and deceit.  Pakistani Military Officials claim militants prevent them from distributing aid, and the military offensive in Mashkai is for the benefit of the earthquake victims.  This claim is a fabrication to justify the continued military occupation of the earthquake region and plunder the relief funding for themselves.

October 13th several Baloch civilians were abducted by Pakistani Agents.  In Maashi Ali Sarmastani was abducted, and in Sobat Pur Sibbi, Sala Mohmmad Murad Bugti was abducted.

Pakistani Death Squads gunned down 2 Baloch civilians in the Mach Bolan region on Sunday.  Gulam Rasoon was shot and killed.  In a separate incident, a yet unidentified Baloch civilian was also killed by target killers.

Pakistan Paramilitary Forces Besiege Panjgur while Plundering Earthquake Ravaged Arawan

Ravaged by the recent Earthquake on September 24th, the Arawan region has since remained Occupied by Pakistani Paramilitary Forces.  Under the pretense of providing assistance to the Earthquake Victims, the Pakistani Military have effectively Isolated the Devastated Community preventing outside media from covering the Tragic Disaster.  Over 500 residents of the Arawan region were been Killed in the initial Earthquake.  Soon after the initial quake, Aftershocks Killed another 15 residents of the nearby Mashkey area.  Thousands of the residents of the Arawan & Mashkey regions have been Injured and Millions Displaced.

Z News - Powerful aftershock hits Balochistan, 15 dead
Balochistan Point - Awaran Needs International Assistance

Checkpoints have been established around the area preventing any Non-Military personnel from entering the Earthquake Zone.  Without media access to the region, the international community is left completely oblivious to the Worsening Humanitarian Crisis in the Arawan region.   As well as turning away media and volunteers, Pakistani Security has Seized incoming Donations of food, medical and emergency supplies.  Civilian Emergency Workers, Medical Personnel, and other Relief Volunteers have reported the Pakistani Security Forces Refused them Access to the region and Confiscated any Supplies they brought for the Earthquake Victims.

BBC News - Pakistan quake highlights Balochistan ethnic fractures

September 25th Sanaullah Baloch and Ghulam Mustafa were Abducted while attempting to enter the Arawan region to Volunteer in the Rescue Operations.  On Saturday the 28th, Habib, Muneer and Sarwar were Abducted from the Mashkey region.  The next day, the Mutilated Bodies of 5 Volunteers who were Abducted near the Arawan region were found Dumped.

Pakistan’s Armed Forces have ensured the Earthquake Zone near Arawan is completely Isolated to prevent the International Community from witnessing the Crisis and sending Aid Workers of their own.  Without the eyes of the international community upon them, Pakistan’s Military is able to Plunder the Relief Supplies and funding for themselves.  Pakistan FC has even taken measures to Prevent the Earthquake Victims from obtaining any incoming Aid Funds or Supplies by requiring they present their Pakistan *CNIC ID cards to qualify for relief aid.  Most of the victim’s CNIC ID cards are Buried beneath the Rubble of their homes along with everything else they possess.

If anyone wishes to make donations or help the Earthquake victims please contact the Baloch Welfare Society and Balochistan Earthquake fund.

Rather than helping the Earthquake victims, Pakistani Military Forces has instead used their presence in the Arawan region to Stage Attacks against the adjacent Panjgur district.  During the past few days Pakistani military forces laid Siege to the small rural Village of Paroom.  Pakistani Soldiers indiscriminately Fired Mortar Rounds and deployed Gunship Helicopters during the Assault.  All the Homes and Vehicles of the residents were Destroyed in the Ruthless Attack.  Since the attack began, more than 20 Abductions have been reported.  At least five Mutilated Bodies have also been recovered in the region since the Attack began last Saturday.  Several of the recovered bodies have been identified as recent Baloch abductees.

The following images illustrate the Destruction left in the wake of the Pakistani Seige of Paroom, Panjgur.

Faqeer Colony, Gwadar, was home to the latest round of door to door Looting and Abduction campaigns.   Many Civilian Homes were Damaged during Raids conducted by Pakistan Security Forces during the weekend.  Personal Property was either stolen or destroyed, and several abductions have been reported.

On September 28th 2013, the Bullet Riddled Body of Manu Jan Bugti was found dumped in Rakni Balochistan.  In Mand, Basit s/o Shera was gunned down by Pakistani Target Killers.  Many Baloch regions experienced Abductions during the weekend.  In Ward-1 Gaddani, Peerandad w/o Shakir Baloch was apprehended by Pakistani Security Forces and Tortured while in Custody, and Mohmmad Iqbal s/o Qadeer was Abducted in Quetta on Saturday.

Balochistan Rocked by Devastating Earthquakes

On Tuesday September 24th Balochistan was struck by a powerful 7.8 magnitude Earthquake.  At a depth of 20km, some 60km north-east of Arawan, the Earthquake was felt as far away as India’s capital Delhi.  At least 145 Deaths have been confirmed, with many more Trapped beneath the rubble.  Thus far, International response to the disaster seems minimal if at all.  Although civil rescue workers and paramedics were already on the scene, Pakistan has deployed a Paramilitary Force of at least 200 Soldiers to take over rescue operations.

Only one day following Taliban Military commander Mullah Baradar's release on September 21st, Taliban Suicide Bombers attacked a Christian Church in Peshawar killing 81 and wounding 140 Christians.  Taliban representatives claim the attack was in retaliation to US Drone Strikes, and is the work of a “splinter group”.  Yet Sunday’s Brutal Attack on the All Saints Christian Church in no way combats or prevents drone strikes.

The Taliban has long maintained strict opposition to all non-Sunni Muslim minorities.  The Taliban openly practice a policy of Persecution and Extermination of Christians, Jews, Hindus, Shiite Muslims, and anyone or anything else they consider “Un-Islamic”.  Rather than promoting Islam, the Taliban attempts to enforce Islam.  The Taliban policy of ethnic intolerance is in-fact destructive to Islam and perpetuates an already negative international perception of Muslims.

Although you can force a *man to task, you can force a man to clothe, you can even force a man to death, but you can never force a man to believe, for the mind of man is his own and is so by design.  To doubt this design is to doubt God.
It is deeply troubling that the Pakistani State has so openly aligned themselves with such Extremist ideologies.

On September 16th Hit Squads killed 2 in the Mand region of Balochistan.  In Braho Reke, Hameed Gong was gunned down, and in Bravi Village Pir Baksh was also shot dead.  In the small town of Sibbi, on Monday, unidentified gunmen killed Ali Mohammed.  In Quetta, an unidentified body was found dumped in the Killi Kamalo area.

Violence in Dera Bugti continued on the 17th.  Waheed Bugti and Ali Bugti were killed by Pakistan Security Forces in Dera Bugti.  Naseem Baloch was gunned down by Pakistni hit squads in Paroom Panjgoor.  In Khuzdar, Mohmmad Hafiz was shot dead, and In the remote Barkhan village, a Marri tribes person was abducted by Pakistani Agents.

Pakistan Conducts Ethnic Cleansing Campaign in Dera Bugti Balochistan

The Attacks earlier this month in Panjgur were but a prelude to this week’s All-Out Siege of the Dera Bugti - Sui regions.  As of September 12th, Pakistani Military Forces began an Intense Military Offensive against the residents of Dera Bugti.  Pat Feeder, Mohan Pat, RD-248, and Kattan were hit hardest during the Attack which encompassed the entire district.  The Dera Bugti Villagers were Beaten and Forced from their homes by Pakistani Security Forces.  Their houses were then Looted of all Valuables and set Ablaze.  During the Attack Pakistani agents Abducted 8 residents, several of whom were Women & Children.  At least 10 Civilians were Wounded by the indiscriminate Firing and intense Shelling of the Sui area.

Pakistan has expanded its Abduction Campaigns to include the Sindh regions.  In Tangwani, Sindh, 5 Baloch were Abducted by ISI Agents.  Even the Sindh are not exempt from Pakistan’s policy of Enforced Disappearances.  In Kalat 3 Sindhis; Junijo, Zameer & Asghar were Abducted earlier today.

In Geneva Switzerland a conference was organized by Baloch Political Activist Nawabzada Mehran Marri.  At the conference Mehran Marri delivered an inspiring speech detailing the ongoing Crisis in Balochistan.  In his speech Mehran Marri stated “Many prominent Baloch leaders including Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, Balach khan Marri, Ghulam Mohammad Baloch, Sher Mohammad Baloch and Lala Muneer Baloch Have been brutally killed by Pakistani army. More than 80000 Bugti and Marri have been forced to leave their native towns and migrated to internal Balochistan, Sindh and even thousands of them went to neibouring country Afghanistan, due to ongoing military operation in their areas.”

Pakistan more willing to accommodate Extremist Taliban Terrorists than Baloch Seperatists.

In an “All Parties Conference” on September 9th, the Pakistan government agreed to schedule peace talks with the Extremist Taliban Militants.  Representatives from the mainstream political parties in Pakistan gathered at the conference to not only unanimously agree to negotiate with the Terrorist organization, but to also release the infamous Mullah Brother, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.  In addition to the release of the former 2nd in command of the Afghan Taliban, seven other Taliban prisoners have been released during the past few days.

It seems rather ironic the party representatives would side with extremist war criminals rather than the moderate secular movement of the Baloch Separatists.  Although the communities of ethnic minorities in Pakistan have been relentlessly victimized by the Taliban, and their affiliates, the attending party members chose to embrace the Taliban extremists with open arms.  The Taliban negations have been publicized under the pretense of establishing peace thus eliminating the need for US Drone strikes.  The APC became a forum for political leaders in Pakistan to lash out at the United States.

Pakistan’s ongoing co-operation with various terrorist organizations is what aggravated the United States in the first place resulting in the drone strikes.  Had the Pakistan Military not confronted the Pakistan Taliban with military force, the United States would have.  With the current Chinese interests in Balochistan, Pakistan’s government now feels confident enough to openly defy NATO demands and welcome the Taliban’s presence.

The reality is that Pakistan is quickly placing itself in the center of a much larger conflict.  Should a treaty be established with the Taliban, it’s likely the drone strikes and NATO aggression will intensify.  I fail to see how provoking an already aggressive foreign super power benefits the people of Pakistan.  Rather the outcome of the APC will in all probability increase the violence and suffering.   This is especially true of the Balochistan region where the Pakistan government had previously permitted and encouraged the Taliban to occupy and base their operations.

During the press conference, representatives stated another APC in Quetta would be scheduled to discuss the violence in Balochistan.  Unlike the Taliban, the Baloch Separatist forces have never committed acts of violence against civilian targets.   Yet not one single Baloch detainee has been released and no efforts have been made to negotiate with the Baloch Separatist Parties.
The Pakistani Armed Forces have again intensified their operations in the Bugti regions surrounding Gwadar Port, Balochistan.

On September 1st the Pakistani state agents began conducting operations in the town of Panjgur.  A man was abducted in the Sarduk area of Panjgur.  Nearby in Mand, Sher Mohammad’s vehicle was stopped by Pakistani forces who then abducted him and his son Aman.

Sunday September 1st In Malir, Karachi, PPP Death Squad; Peoples Aman Committee, killed Jalil Ahmed Baloch.  The next day 2 young Baloch school boys were abducted from Babu Mullha area of Kalat.  The Peoples Aman Committee was considered defunct after being classified as a terrorist group and subsequently banned in 2011.  Their recent activities in Balochistan indicate the notorious organization is indeed quite actively participating in the systematic genocide of the Baloch.

The assault in Panjgur intensified on Monday September 2nd, when Pakistan’s armed forces opened fire on the house of Abdul Bab in Chitkan.  A man named Jahanzaib was killed by unidentified gunmen in the nearby village of Hoshab.  In Zedi Khuzdar Pakistani agents abducted Master Abdul Hameed s/o Mohmmad.  On Tuesday September 3rd in Panjgur, Attaullah s/o Dad Mohmmad and Haneef s/o Rasheed were abducted by Pakistani forces.

Pakistan Demonstrates their Violent Enforcement of Media Censorship in Balochistan

Six months ago, Haji Abdul Razzaq Baloch, Esteemed journalist and editor at the Urdu language news outlet “Daily Tawar”, was abducted by Pakistan state agents in Karachi.  The Daily Tawar is one of the few regional news outlets reporting the ongoing genocide in Balochistan.  Despite having changed their office on a number of occasions due to ongoing threats and abductions of staff, the Daily Tawar continues to report the atrocities committed by Pakistan state agencies in Balochistan.

Razzaq’s disfigured remains were recovered in the Lyari area of Karachi on August 22nd.  Reports indicate his body was mutilated beyond recognition and his family was barely able to recognize him.  So far of the seven journalists killed in Pakistan this year, four of them were killed in Balochistan.  Pakistan’s efforts to censor the reporting of their Baloch genocide only serves to illustrate their attempt to obscure the genocide they continue to conduct in Balochistan.

As well as Abdul Razzaq, the bodies of 2 other Baloch abductees were also recently recovered in Karachi.  On August 23rd it was reported the bodies of Muhammad Ramzan and Abdul Ghafoor were found in Surjani Town.   These tactics of dumping the bodies of extra-judicially killed Baloch outside the Balochistan province, especially in the nearby town of Karachi, is the ages old method of deceit through misdirection.  By placing the bodies in the neighboring province of Sindh the Pakistan State Agencies are diluting the statistics to lessen the gravity of the situation in Balochistan.

On August 23rd four bodies were discovered.  In the Killi Chashma area of Kalat the mutilated remains of Muhammad Irfan was recovered.   Only three days later, the bullet-riddled body of BRP activist Gulla Khan Bugti was recovered in Thangwani Naseerabad.

Monday August 26th marked the 7th anniversary of martyrdom of Nawab Akbar Bugti.  Balochistan engaged in a province wide shutter-down strike in observance of the anniversary of Nawab Akbar’s martyrdom.  During this strike many shopkeepers throughout the region were harassed and abducted for refusing to violate the BRP strike call on this day of mourning.

Pakistan Armed Forces Rampage through Dera Bugti

On Wednesday August 14th, after 1240 days of hunger strike demonstrations in Quetta, the Protest Camp for Families of Missing Persons was burned and ransacked by Pakistan Security Forces.  The camp was founded by Mama Abdul Qadir Baloch after his son Jalil Reki (a leader of BRP) was abducted in 2009.  Jalil’s bullet riddled body was recovered 2 years later in 2011.  Since its inception 3 years ago, the camp has been home to the families of victims of abductions and extra-judicial killings.  Only days before the attack, Mama Qadir had received death threats by Pakistan Security Agents who demanded the camp be dismantled.

August 16th, in the town of Mach, Pakistan Armed Forces deployed a helicopter gunship during a ruthless assault on the Mach residents.  10 civilians were killed and dozens injured in Friday’s attack.
On Saturday Naveed s/o Saleh Mohd was abducted on Makran Coastal Highway near Gwadr.  Naveed was a resident of the nearby town of Pishukan.  In Satellite Town, Quetta,  one person was shot by unidentified gunmen.

Pakistan Armed Forces continue their vicious rampage in Dera Bugti regions through the weekend conducting operations in RD 238, Muhan Patt and Deenari Patt.  Pakistani Soldiers are conducting loot and burn operations, indiscriminately firing upon Baloch civilians. Several Baloch have been killed and many abductions have been reported.  Sunday August 18th the disfigured remains of 2 previously abducted BRP activists have been discovered in Sui.  One of them has been identified as Ismail Bugti.  Ismail was abducted by Pakistani agents on August 14th in the Zenkoh region of Dera Bugti.
Much like the attacks in Bolan on August 11th, the Pakistani Forces have been dumping previously abducted and murdered Baloch activists while conducting loot and burn operations in order to justify both; the ongoing attacks on civilian villages, and the murders of the abductees by falsely labelling their victims as insurgents and terrorists.   Reports of killings and abductions continue to surface from the Dera Bugti regions as the Pakistani Death Squads continue their destructive rampage.

On Monday August 20th, In Killi Qambarini Quetta, Pakistan Armed Forces killed three Baloch and abducted several others.   The bodies of abductees Ghafoor and Ramzan Baloch were found in Surjani town Karachi.  In Saami Kech one person was shot dead by unidentified gunmen.

August 14th has been declared as a “black day” for Balochistan.   The BNV has termed as “a day to express their dislike for slavery and occupation.”  BRP also announced August 14 as a Black day in all of Balochistan and internationally to condemn the illegal Pakistani occupation of Balochistan.   BRP activists are encouraged to hold references, Quran Khwani (Holy Quran recitation) and distribute food in memory of Shaheed-e-Azam Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti on his martyrdom anniversary of August 26th.  BNF supported by BRP, BYW, as well as other Free-Balochistan parties, encourage all freedom loving Baloch to join a "shutter down wheel jam" province wide strike on the August "14th Black Day".

On July 29th, While Pakistan military is flexing its muscle in Balochistan, 70 Taliban Militants Bombed and Stormed a Dera Ismail Khan Prison, in the neighboring Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province.  During the attack Taliban Militants killed six guards, Executed six Shiite inmates, and released 250+ prisoners.  Although a handful of Pakistani security forces “engaged the attackers” none of the Taliban Militants were killed and they all Escaped unscathed along with the Prisoners into Waziristan.  Many of the escaped prisoners are reported to be Dangerous members of the banned LEJ Terrorist group.
The prison officials have admitted they were forewarned of the impending attack, and even held a conference, yet made No Preparations.  Reports indicate that several Bombs were detonated along the walls, and the gates attacked with RPGs.  With the 400,000+ soldiers stationed in neighboring Balochistan, its inconceivable how such an attack could have succeeded without State Compliance.
After the 2012 Taliban attack at the Bannu Prison, the Pakistan government allotted an additional Rs350 Million to Prison security in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa regions.  Rs120 million were spent on procurement of technological security devices such as walkthrough gates, explosive scanners and closed circuit cameras.  Somehow armed with both the knowledge of an impending attack and a wealth of modern security equipment, the Taliban militants were able to plant explosives along the walls and invade the prison with minimal opposition.   Two days prior to the attack, officials conducted searches of the prison & seized 60 cell phones.  Mr Abbas, who is also the superintendent of Peshawar central prison, confirmed in an interview on the 26th that “banned items couldn't reach Prisoners without the Support of Insiders.”
